Oasys SlopeFE 20.0.0.28 | 48 Mb

SlopeFE is a new program that performs two-dimensional slope stability analysis. It provides a quick and accurate way to identify the slip surface for factors of safety, and to check improvements from reinforecements such as soil nails, rock bolts, ground anchors and geotextiles.

It combines two types of analysis within one easy-to-use program interface. Finite element steady state seepage analysis calculates the pore pressure distribution, followed by analysis of slope stability by traditional limit equilibrium methods.

Powerful finite element analysis

Simple material and strata geometry may be entered to define a section through the slope. The program then generates a finite element mesh from this information and additional data is entered to specify the required groundwater conditions and slip circles to analyse.

SlopeFE is an upgrade to our exsiitng Slope software, both of which are everyday slope stability analysis programs, allowing users to deal with soils and rock material as standard. With SlopeFE, you will receive the same features and benefits as Slope, but with a new intuitive user interface and powerful finite element analysis.

Features
New model wizard enables the user to input ground sections easily
Slope data files can also be imported
Automatic generation of finite element mesh for steady state seepage analysis
Submerged or partially submerged slopes can be analysed
Ainclined soil nails, rock bolts or ground anchors, can be specified. The restoring moment contributed by the reinforcement is calculated according to BS8006
Groundwater boundary conditions can be fixed head, fixed flow, phreatic or no-flow. Boundary conditions can be set along lines or at individual nodes allowing a lot of flexibility
Permeabilities for each material can be set, allowing a more realistic representation of pore pressures in the ground than previously possible in Slope
External forces can be applied to the ground surface to represent building loads or strut forces in excavations
Output includes Descriptionting of pore pressures and other water data, location of the phreatic surface, and display of the analysed slip circles with their factors of safety against failure
